I woke up one morning and I found my woman gone. She had left a note I thought it would read won't be long.
But she's gone for good now she's found another man. She say's he can love her better than I can.
Well she broke my heart with what the letter had to say.
She didn't even talk to me she just got up and walked away. I don't need her love I don't need it anymore. I can find another woman and this time I'll be sure.
I made a mistake on the last woman I had. And I'm not, I'm not going to make the same mistake twice, not twice. Our love was fire but she turned it into ice. Fire, oh fire, she turned it into ice.
Although I am looking for somebody new. I am going to take my time so I can make sure love is true. I need a woman who'll take it day by day.
Not someone who rushes in and when fulfilled rushes away.
